Hi Everyone!
I’m thinking about moving to San Francisco, but I’m wondering what kind of monthly expenses I would run into there (it’ll also help me figure out how much I need to make!)
I’m coming from country life, so I know there’s probably alot of stuff I haven’t even thought of when trying to estimate myself. Can someone give me a list of different expenses with approximate costs?

I’m trying to play it fair and save with uncle sam. I have a 15 month old daughter that usually goes to two older citizen that i know. One is a member of my church. And the other is just a friend of my grandparents. The problem both of them are from another country and neither of them have a social security number. I paid over a total of $4000 dollars in babysitting charges last year, but all of it was in cash and no record of payment. Is there a way i can get child credit or any sort of deductions for this expenses.

If at the end of the year my income for my photography business is the same amount as the expenses, does the amount owed break even with the amount to be refunded to me? I am a sole proprietor.
What are the percentages that are taken and given? I need to know how much of my income I need to set aside for taxes at the end of the year.

I am hoping to move to the Honolulu area in 6 months to a year and in the mean time I am trying to save up money for a buffer for certain expenses I somewhat expect but is it so hard to find honest and open answers on what to expect for monthly expenses. I am going to be by myself and I plan on buying a small condo so putting the mortgage or rent aside what other monthly expenses should I expect? Bills? Fees? Groceries?Etc? Thank you.

My boyfriend is suppose to move in with me. I own my home and pay a mortgage of about $800. He thinks he should pay only 1/2 of the utilities and none of the house note since it is my house. I think he should pay at least part of the house note since he is living in the house. My thinking is that he would have to pay rent if he lived elsewhere so why wouldn’t he at least pay part of the house expenses. I want to be fair.
