expenses
Strenght of Mind is the Key asked:

My employer is reimbursing me about $6000 in expenses this year. This amount is in addition to my paychecks.
I think only my employer is supposed to show it on their tax return, since they are the ones paying for he expenses.

Do I have to report this to IRS on the tax return?
If yes, how do I show it?

I guess I am trying to understand how an electric company makes profit in their line of business. Obviously, they have some sort of expenses and what they are? Can anyone help me understand this? Do these electric/energy companies depend on something or some products in order for them to provide energy.

In 2006, I quit my job to get my MBA at a school on the east coast (Pennsylvania), moving from California. Are the moving expenses associated with this deductible?

This year I itemized deductions but did not claim job related expenses as I was told without an explicit supporting letter from my employer stating the need for these nonreimbursed expenses, I could not back up my deduction claim. For the future I would like to know what is acceptable supporting documentation. Are there any samples of employer consent letter?

1)I am planning to buy a new home for the first time . What expenses(payment) would be added to my home mortgage like home insurance, mortgage insurance etc?
2)How can I lower my monthly mortgage? Some of my friends told that I have to pay at least 20% down payment rather than paying those amount after one year or so to lower monthly mortgage .
Thanking in advance.

I am working with a recovery agent and my employer credits my personal bank a/c with heavy amounts to be paid to my subordinates for their expenses and salary. Have I to give the details of this amount in the ITR?

An old friend just died, and though the V.A. covers “some” of the funeral expenses, his common-law wife has to pay 5 thousand dollars, leaving her totally broke afterwords. Does anyone know “how” I can start a fund raising to help make up for what she’s paying out? Any advice I appreciate. Thank you.
