My fiance started a business back in August 05. The accounting has not been done. He is using his personal checking account for business and personal expenses. How do I handle this situation. I was reading on another forum to treat it as an owners draw but what do I do if its for his personal gas and utilities. Please advise. I just started quickbooks online and I don’t know if I should use his statement balances. He has no intentions on opening separate accounts. Please advise how I should handle the situation.

I’m starting up a small home based business. I’m planning to buy office equipment and some inventory now, but the business won’t be up and running until January 2010. I want to claim the business expenses incurred this year as deductions for 2010? Is it possible and how? Should I choose the accrual based accounting method? Also should I open a business account now or it’s ok to pay the expenses with my personal credit card? thank you for your answers!

Business investment of $60,000.00 is needed to start our lucritive Nationwide Telecommunications Company. We have $15,000.00 in cash and have self-written the complete 100% automated software etc.
Where by would be the easiest/fastest loan company Government or Private to begin operations.

Under business Trevel expenses, TurboTax states other auto expenses (parts, repairs, tires, lubricants, washing) all can be deducted. The accident occured driving my personal vehicle, which I use for work, while driving for my job.
It is an insurance claim, so can I at least deduct my deductable, and towing?

The boss is in another city and refuses to approve my requisitions to bring more business into my city office.
He hates me because he was involved in fradulent activities and I informed the head office about it…
Now he does not want me to spend as I spend within the monthly budget and he has informed the finance departement not to approve anything without his consent.
He wants to cut off my arms and legs. But I am still performing and doing my best.
* I decided to draft an email to the CEO of the company. And out of anxiety and with a clear conscience, I sent the email across to the CEO.
The CEO is a decent man, knows me very well, does know that I work with an obsession and bring results for the companys benefit and that I am atleast what you can call 100% honest on the job.
Advice with proper answers please. This is only for people who are working in jobs who know the way it works in companies!
For example; I want to spend 100$ dollars on going out somewhere to meet clients and he says NO not necessary right now. What business are you going to bring?
*** Remember I keep within the budget. If the budget is 1000$ my expenses every month come to about 300$ – 400$
No HR and No Union. Sadly! I am all alone on this front…

I have a home run business, but the thing is am gonna be carrying out business operations overseas, (though paying tax here in Canada) my first business trip is coming up in a couple of weeks, how many things can i write off as business expenses?
Can i write off my flight ticket and all transportation cost incurred doing business?
And how does it work, do i show the government my receipts or do i fill out a form to get reimbursed or is it during tax returns i file for one showing them the receipts?.

Basically, after my business was officially filed as an LLC but before my business bank account was created, I made some purchases exclusively for business purposes (ie company website). Can I simply write a check from my business account to my personal one? I keep very detailed notes about my expenditures for accounting and have all receipts.
Thanks!
